Like the human, dogs also face a number of different health issues. One of the most common among them is the worms. Worms in a dog could be happened at any age due to a number of reasons. This could be anything like raw meat, infected feces, soil and food which are not made for the dog due to its nutrition values. The unhealthy environment around the dog can also be the cause of these worms in dogs. So, to prevent your dog from worms, you need to provide him a hygienic environment to live and have an eye on the food which he is eating.

All type of worms in a dog can be treated with the help of medication. They usually get rid of the dog’s body within 2-3 days. So, there is nothing much to worry about this health problem until your dog show pain and feel very uncomfortable.

Symptoms of dogs with worms:
There are more than 300 breeds of dog. Each of them reacts differently in the case of worms in their body. It is difficult to talk about symptoms for each of these dogs. But some of the symptoms are very common and help you to know that whether your dog has a worm inside his body or not. Some of these symptoms are:

Poor coat and pot belly appearance
Diarrhea and abdominal pain
Bloody diarrhea and weight loss
Vomiting and coughing
Low energy and itchy skin etc.
If you found any of these symptoms in your dog, then you must get in touch with your dog’s vet as soon as possible. It is true that worms in dogs are not very dangerous but sometimes they could be if you let them grow inside the dog’s body. There have been many death among dogs has been reported due to worms inside their bodies.
